Michael Waters will present "Gender panic, Queer Celebrity, and the Long Arc of the 1936 Olympics," on March 10 at 7 pm.

 

Michael Waters, winner of the Lambda Literary Award in LGBTQ+ Nonfiction and a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize for The Other Olympians, traces the roots of contemporary panic to the 1930s. He has contributed to The Atlantic, The New Yorker, WIRED, Vox, The New York Times, and others. He is currently at work on a second book, Give Me Some Credit.
