The Dance and Movement Studies Program at Allegheny College will present its annual Cookies and Milk Dance concert. The performance is offered to the community – adults and children – as a celebratory concert for the winter season. It is free of charge, but seating is extremely limited and reservations are highly recommended. Reservations must be claimed in person 10 minutes before performance time. Call the Dance and Movement Studies office at 814-332-2813 for reservations or more information. 

2pm — Performance in Montgomery Performance Space

3pm — Refreshments for those attending the concert in the Campus Center Lobby; Gamelan music sponsored by the Allegheny Music Department will be performed at that time 

The dance concert will present a variety of dance and movement styles, including pieces by JaDE, Orchesis, and an aikido demonstration by the Aikido club. In addition, the concert will include performances by various members of the Allegheny dance community. John Hyatt and Sophia Mita will contribute musical interludes. A 35th year collaborative production of The Cumberland Mountain Bear Chase will be produced and performed by members of: The Learning Center K-8 School, Allegro Dance Arts, Allegheny Dance and Creating Landscapes.
